Here’s how to get started with Moped:
In order to undergo training for moped AM and or class II, you must be 14 years and 9 months old.

To be allowed to practice driving an AM moped, you must have a valid driving license. Start by applying for this at www.transportstyrelsen.se. The application is divided into two parts where one part is a health declaration and the other part is a synthesis test. You can get help with the synthesis test from an optician. The Swedish Transport Agency charges a fee of SEK 0 from 1 January 2018 for the application, which is sent home by post.

Once you have decided which moped license you want (AM driving license 45 km / h or driving license 25 km / h), you book a moped course. The training with us at Körkortsspecialisten takes place in the form of teacher-led teaching, initially group theory and later driving. More detailed information about the training of each moped license can be found in the menu on the left.

After completing teaching, teachers report to the Swedish Transport Agency that the student has completed moped training with the Driving License Specialist. After that, the student can, from the day he or she turns 15, write the knowledge test at the Swedish Transport Administration. You can book this yourself by calling the Swedish Transport Administration on 0771-171819 or via their website. The nearest reception place for knowledge tests is Hisingen in Gothenburg.
